Following notes describe general information, Software & Hardware requirements and limitations for BEx Analyzer:

Supported versions of:
- Windows Operating Systems: Vista, 7, 8, 2003 Server, 2008 Server, 2008 R2 Server
- Microsoft Excel (ONLY 32 BIT): 2002, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013
- Microsoft Office 365 - Please read detail information in note 1973324.
- SAP NetWeaver BW: 700, 701, 702, 703, 710, 711, 720, 730, 731, 740
Please note:
- SAP GUI and BEx Frontend must have the same version (for e.g. SAP GUI 7.30 fits to BI Add-On based on 7.30)
- Its strongly recommended to use the latest patches of SAP GUI and BEx Frontend.
- Office 64 bit versions are NOT supported for BEx tools, see note 1652769.

2 - The installation includes:
- SAP GUI for Windows 730
- SAP GUI Patch
- SAP BI Addon 7.0 for SAP GUI
- BI 7.0 AddOn Patch for GUI
- xPreCalServer (only for Precalculation Server)
3 - Preparing the installation:
- Download the Frontend-CD from the SAP Service Market Place:
- Navigate: Software Downloads
- Enter search term: NW 7.0 Presentation - 7.30 Compilation 3 Present

- NW 7.0 Presentation - 7.30 Compilation 3 Present. 2
- Click here: Latest BI ADDON for SAP GUI 730 to download latest patchs from SAP Service Market Place:
- SAP GUI Patch,
- BI 7.0 Addon Patch and
- Precalculation Server (only for Precalculation Server)
4 - Installation steps:
Download Sap Gui 7.3
- uninstall the Frontend and SAP GUI
Windows > Start > Control Panel > Program and Features > remove
- SAP Business Explorer
- SAP GUI for Windows 7.x
- SAP BW Preclaculation Service (only on Precalculation Server) - delete the bw containing folders:
- C:Program Files (x86)SAPBusiness ExplorerBI
- C:Program Files (x86)SAPBusiness ExplorerBI_Prec (only on Precalculation Server)
- C:Program Files (x86)SAPFrontEndBw
- C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesSAP SharedBW - reboot the system
- start the Front-End Installer from Frontend-CD:
- folder: ...NW_7.0_PresentationPRES1GUIWINDOWSWIN32
- file: SetupAll.exe
- select/install ...

- update to latest SAP GUI patch
- update to latest SAP BI AddOn patch
- install SAP BW Precalculation Service (only for Precalculation Server)
